Prenote file in Employee Deductions is NOT working on a find set



Description of Issue

The prenote tape from Employee Deductions is not working on a find set. 



Context

Advice Register and Export 



Cause

When selecting Prenote File from within Employee Deductions, a find set is not necessary, it will pull all deductions with the Prenote Checkbox checked.



Resolution
  1. Go to Employee Deductions (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Deductions).

  2. Click Search. Check the Prenote Checkbox. Click Accept. 

  3. Click Update and uncheck the Prenote Checkbox. Click Accept. 

    1. Do this for all employees who should receive a paper check in the first payroll.

  4. Click Prenote File in the menu. 

  5. This will take you to the Advice Register and Export to create a Prenote Tape for all employees with the Prenote checkbox checked.Â
