TCM scanner settings not saving



Description of Issue

When scanning into TCM, the selected scanner settings are not saving and have to be reselected the next time scanning is attempted.

Cause

The ignore machine/ip-address for web-based machine settings needs to be activated in the TCM Full Client. 



Resolution
  1. Sign into the TCM Full Client with administrative rights. Please follow How to Access and Launch the CM Full Client if you are not familiar with these steps. 

  2. Select the Administration tab.

  3. Select System Setup.

  4. Select TCM Configuration.

  5. Check the box that states Ignore machine/ip-address for web-based machine settings.

  6. Please test again. If the issue persists after the setting has been selected, please contact TCM Support for further assistance.
