This site cannot be reached error when accessing the TCM viewer through Munis

Description of Issue

Users report that they are getting error messages when trying to load the TCM HTML Viewer that relates to This site can't be reached - Check if there is a typo in tylercmprod. Please note this message may alter slightly depending on the environment that is selected.

Cause

This issue is caused by there being an extra / character at the end of the TCM URL in the Munis TCM Configuration screen.

Resolution
  1. Log into Munis as an admin user.

  2. Click on Tyler Menu.

  3. Click on System Administration.

  4. Click on General Administration.

  5. Click on TylerCM for Munis Settings.

  6. Check the URL listed in the Document Viewer URL field. It should not end with a /. For example, it should display as: https://yoursitenamehere.com/tylercmtrain and not https://yoursitenamehere.com/tylercmtrain/.

  7. If you do find that there is a / at the end of the TCM Document Viewer URL, then click Update.

  8. Delete the / at the end of the URL.

  9. Click Accept.

  10. Click on Master Password and follow prompts to reset password
    If you do not know the id/password to use please reach out to your site administrator

  11. Click on Rebuild TCM Caches

  12. Ask users to test.
