How to sync custom fields in Hub

Resolution

Custom data in Hub needs to be synced from two places:

  1. From Hub Administration:

    1. In Hub, click on the cogwheel icon to access the Settings menu and select Administration

      1. For Hub versions 2021.8 and below:

        1. On the General Settings tab, expand the Sync Custom and External Content section

        2. Click Perform sync

      2. For Hub versions 2021.9 and above:

        1. Under the System Settings section, expand the External Systems section

        2. Click Manage Custom Content

        3. Expand the product you're using and click on Sync Custom Content

          1. If the button is grayed out, refer to Sync Custom Content button grayed out in Hub

  2. From Card Designer:

    1. On your Hub card, click the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner and select Edit

    2. In the left column, click the Dataset Selection tab

    3. In the Dataset Columns section, click the icon to the right of the Dataset Columns title with the two circular arrows
