Open New Fiscal Year- error refactoring Accounts

• After closing successfully in Train, an error generated in Live while running the Open New Fiscal Year program: Munis (glopenyr).  Error refactoring Accounts: 6372... The MERGE statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint FK_AccountSubAmounts Accounts.  

Open New Fiscal Year

Possible causes:

• Other users were not off Munis.

• Other programs were open while closing.

• A transaction with an issue was posted in Live after Train had been refreshed.  

• Check with General Ledger Support if this error happens in Live to determine if a restore is needed.

• If the error happens in Train or Test, refresh from Live and try closing again.

• Before closing in Live after restore:

1. Have Train or Test refreshed from Live.

2. Close in Train or Test.  

3. If closing in Train or Test is successful, have IT save a backup of Live right before closing in Live.

4. Have IT lock users out of Munis and confirm all other users are off Munis.

5. Re-run closing programs and only have the one closing program you are running open.

6. After closing, check General Ledger Settings and run reports.  Confirm results are as expected before letting users back on Munis.
