Import Journals Pre-Edit - Unrecoverable Error Detected

Importing using the Standard multiple journals format in the Import Journals Program, select Pre-Edit and an Error occurs:

Unrecoverable Error Detected

Munis has detected an unrecoverable error. This program will abort after you close this message.

This error has been submitted to the Munis System Log. Please note the following details and report this error to your administrator and/or Munis Support.

Error condition: An Effective date is required.

Import Journals 

The Effective date must be on the import file as well as defined in the Journal info for the Import

1. Check the Import file against the import template to make sure all columns are correct.
2. Make sure the information and character count within the columns on the file is correct.
3. Resave the file as a .prn
4. Retry the import
