Resolution

Tyler Deploy requires a registered tylertech.com account and appropriate permissions to deploy updates. If you are unfamiliar with using Tyler Deploy, or updating a certain product, please work with Support or a co-worker who is familiar before applying updates. Please familiarize yourself with the Tyler Deploy documentation and Tyler Product Compatibility Matrix available in the Tyler Community links listed in the Additional Information section of this article.

  1. Ensure users are out of the environment/product you are running an update for
  2. Navigate to https://tylerdeploy.com/ (Chrome is the recommended browser).
  3. In the left navigation menu, under Deployment, expand Product Deployments and select the product you wish to update.
  4. Select Environment
  5. In the Product Release tab click the Channel drop down to select the major version of your Tyler Product (i.e 2019.1 , 2020.1, etc
    1. Note: Please double check your major version before committing to the update. Selecting the incorrect major version can cause undesired changes.
  6. Click the Release dropdown and select the desired release version (i.e 2019.1.21.133, 2019.1.21.144 etc)
  7. You do not need to have the Check Prereqs or Force Redeployment boxes checked. These are used by support for troubleshooting purposes.
  8. Use the now/later toggle button if you would like to schedule the update for a later time, or leave it off to start immediately
    1. Note: If using the later option, the time zone might need to be adjusted to match the request.
  9. Click Start to begin update or Schedule if you are scheduling to run at a later time.
