What is the service date used for on the Employee Master?

Resolution
  • The Service Date on the Employee Master record is the default Accrual Date in the Employee Accruals program when first adding Employee Accrual records. This can be modified during and after the add of the Employee Accrual record.

  • The Service Date is also used to calculate an employee's longevity.
