Defaults for the Dates in Employee Accruals
Description of Issue
Where does the accrual date, start date and end date come from when add a new accrual record?
Context

Cause
Resolution
- Accr Date - This the Accrual Date. It defaults in with the Service Date in Employee Master. (Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Master > click the Dates tab to view the Service Date)
- If there is no Service Date entered, the Accrual Date defaults in from the Permanent Date in Employee Master
- If there is no Service or Permanent Date entered, the Accrual Date defaults in from the HIre Date in Employee Master
- Start Date-Â This defaults in with the date the new record is added
- End Date - This defaults in with 12/31/9999
Additional Information
If a site has implemented Employee Eligibility, this can impact the default for the Start Date. Employee Accruals Start Date defaulting in for future date
