CalPERS Payroll Contribution period records not generating for retired working annuitants

We have working annuitants that are not generating a period record and need assistance determining why.

• CalPERS Participants

Create EPN on Participant Record had not been checked

1. Open the CalPERS Participants program

2. Search for the Employee

3. Select Update

4. Check the Create EPN box

5. Select Accept

6. Return to CalPERS Payroll Contribution Reporting program and re-Generate

The CalPERS Payroll Contribution Report Generate will create an EPN (Earned Period No Contribution and No Service) Period Record for all employees with no contribution amounts for the reporting period, who have a Participants record with the Create EPN option check marked.
