Description of Issue

While processing a credit card transaction, error message An error occurred adding a tender:  host bad parameter is generated and the transaction is not committed.

  • Cashiering

  • Payments

  • ROAM

  • Lane 3000



Cause

Device firmware is out of date.



Resolution

The following instructions are for a Lane 3000 or 5000:

  1. Press 2 6 3 4 on the device keypad and Press F button on the device.

  2. At the Tetra Explorer screen, select Control Panel.

  3. Select Software Management.

  4. Select Evolution.

  5. Select Remote Upgrade.

  6. Select Start Remote Upgrade.
