Unable to Edit W-4 in ESS

User is missing the Edit button on their W-4 state tax form in ESS.

• ESS

The W-4 Lock option is checked in Employee Deductions. If selected, it prevents W-4 updates in ESS Pay/Tax Information.

1. Navigate to Employee Deductions 

   1. EERP > Human Capital Management > Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Deductions

2. Search on the employee

3. Locate the impacted deduction

4. Click Update

5. Unflag the W-4 Lock option

6. Click Accept
