Description of Issue

User is looking to find an employee submitted W-4 change request to process



Context

  • Enterprise ERP

  • (EERP)

  • Human Capital Management

  • Employee Maintenance 

  • Pending W-4 Requests 

  • Employee Self Service 



Cause

User does not know where to locate W-4 change requests in EERP



Resolution

  1. Navigate to the Human Resources Email in ESS

    1. ESS > Administration > Employee Administration > Application Administration > Human resources email definition is sent the email 

  2. This pulls into a separate program called Pending W-4 Requests

  3. Navigate to Pending W-4 Requests in EERP

    1. EERP > Human Capital Management > Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Pending W-4 Requests

  4. Search for the desired employee

  5. Review and then click Approve in the banner

  6. The approved change should push over to the employee's deduction records

    1. Once posted, you can leave the change there, or Purge the change. This is up to your site 



Additional Information

  • When an employee submits a W-4 change, an email gets delivered to the Human resources email in ESS; a record is then created in a program called Pending W-4 Requests in EERP
