Time autogenerating to timecard



Description of Issue

The default clock in and out pay code is automatically populating in every employee's time card inquiry screen. These transactions are not logged in the transaction audit, there is nothing in hours request, there are no salaried policies or schedules set up and the employees are not using the clock in or out function.

Cause

The employee type attached to the users has the Salary Automatic Hours flag enabled. When this flag is set, all users attached will have eight hours a day M-F generate to the timecard.



Resolution
  1. Navigate to System Admin > Master File Management > Employee Types

  2. Find the employee type associated with the employee and click Edit (pencil icon).

  3. Uncheck the Salary Automatic Hours box.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Repeat for each employee type in question.
