Cannot edit or delete workflow step rule

Description of Issue

Unable to delete or make modifications to Workflow Steps rule created 



Context

  • Version 2020.1



Cause

Workflow step has been attached to a Workflow Approver



Resolution

  1. Go to System Admin 

  2. Select Workflow Management

    1. Using the pencil, edit the Workflow that contains the Workflow Step Rule to be deleted/modified

    2. Remove the Step rule if it's not needed

    3. Note, if there are multiple Workflows using the step you will have to remove it from all Workflows 

    4. Save

  3. Go to Workflow Step Rule

    1. As long as the rule is no longer assigned, the options to Edit/Delete will appear



Additional Information

Workflow Step Rule 10 comes as a default step and cannot be modify nor deleted
