Description of Issue

Can we enable Two Factor Authentication for Tyler Community Portico for VSS/CSS?

Context

  • Vendor Self Service (VSS)

  • Citizen Self Service (CSS)

  • Multifactor authentication

  • MFA

  • Two factor authentication

  • 2FA

Cause

Informational

Resolution

  • MFA is setup on a user-by-user basis and can only be enabled by the end user

  • Mass enabling multifactor authentication is not an option for Tyler Portico

To enable MFA in your Community Access Profile:

  1. Login to https://identity.tylerportico.com/ with Community account credentials, or a Community Access service

  2. Select Privacy Settings > Extra Verification

  3. Toggle on Enable Extra Verification

  4. Click Setup for desired method of MFA
