How to enable Two Factor Authentication for Tyler Community Portico for VSS/ESS/CSS

Context

  • Vendor Self Service (VSS)

  • Employee Self Service (ESS)

  • Citizen Self Service (CSS)

Cause

Resolution

Mass enabling multifactor authentication is not an option for Tyler Portico. It is done on a user by user basis and it's up to the user to update this in their user settings. 

  1. Login to https://identity.tylerportico.com/ with self service credentials

  2. Select Privacy Settings > Extra Verification > Enable Extra Verification

  3. Setup desired method of MFA
