Cashiering Cash Details Greyed Out on Tender Screen

Description of Issue

When taking a cash payment, the Cash Details button is greyed out.

Context

Cause

The department settings are not set for cash tender denominations.

Resolution

  1. Log into Cashiering with an administrator account

  2. Navigate to Administration > Departments

  3. Find applicable department and click the pencil icon

  4. On the General tab, set Collect Cash Tender Denominations drop-down to Optional or Mandatory

  5. Click Save
