Description of Issue

Can SSNs be hidden in the Employee Issued Property screen?

Cause

Resolution

Update the user's payroll Role

  1. Access Roles (System Administration > Security > Roles)
  2. Search for the user's Role
  3. Click the HR Management / Payroll folder on the Module View tab
  4. Click Update
  5. Change Payroll Superuser and Personnel Superuser to No
  6. Click the Category Access tab 
  7. Scroll down and set the EMPLOYEE CAPITAL ASSETS/INVENT category to Hide SSN
  8. Click Accept
  9. Have the user close out and log back in
