Wrong Accrual Year End Date Used



Description of Issue

Accrual year end was processed with the wrong date, now the start of the year adjustment records have the wrong date.

Cause

Processed the Accrual Year End function with the wrong Last Day of Accrual Year defined.



Resolution

Utilize the Fix EOY Date function in the accrual year end processing program in order to correct the date used on the SOY adjustment history records. 

  1. Navigate your Tyler Menu to: Payroll > Accrual Processing > Accrual Year End Processing

  2. Click Fix EOY Date in the ribbon

  3. Define the original date used in the Old EOY Date field. Define the new date in the New EOY Date field

  4. Define the applicable Accrual Type ranges

  5. Define the applicable Location, Org, and/or Group/BU ranges

  6. Click Accept

  7. Click Output Post.
