Hiding SSNs in Time Entry Reports

Description of Issue

In Time Entry, clerks are seeing SSNs on reports, is there a way to hide those?



Context

Cause

The Hide SSN checkbox was not checked in the user's Time Entry Preferences



Resolution

  1. When the user is in Time Entry (Payroll>Payroll Processing>Time Entry Processing>Time Entry), click Preferences in the toolbar.

  2. Click Update. Check the Hide SSN Checkbox. 

    1. Note: As long as the report option is not set to, Always choose, and has an actual report option defined, the user will not have the ability to toggle the hide SSN option.
