How to locate unposted budget amendments

User is having difficulty locating unposted budget transfers and amendments

Budget transfers and amendment journals are given a journal source code of BUA. If unposted, they can be located in one of two programs, either Budget Transfers and Amendments or in Accounting Entries.

Option 1:

Financials > Budget Processing > Budget Transfers and Amendments

1. Browse

2. Select Browse All Journals

3. Highlight the correct journal that needs to be viewed

4. Accept

Option 2:

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Journal Entry/History > Accounting Entries

1. Select the Budget Transfers/Amendments tab

2. Click the journal number hyperlink of the journal that needs to be viewed

If the journal has been posted, it should appear in a search within Journal Inquiry/Print.

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Journal Entry/History > Journal Inquiry/Print

2. Enter the year, period, and journal number

   1. If the journal number is not known, enter the year and period, enter BUA in the Source field, click Accept, and then Browse to view all results
