Permissions Required for Project Import Program

What permissions does a user need to access the Project Import program?

User will need menu access to the Project Import program and Project Accounting Permission to Maintain Projects.

To grant menu access:

  1. Go to Enterprise ERP > System Administration > Security >User Attributes

  2. Search for the User to grant access to

  3. Highlight the role granting them Menu Security Access

  4. Select the Edit Role option at bottom of page

  5.  Select Menu Security Tab

  6. Using the highlighted line and the Forward option Navigate to Financials > General Ledger Menu > Project Accounting > Project Ledger > Set Up

  7. Select Edit

  8. Populate the Checkbox for Project Import

  9. Accept

To grant Project Accounting Permission:

  1. Go to Enterprise ERP > System Administration > Security >User Attributes

  2. Search for the User to grant access to

  3. Highlight the role granting them Project & Grant Accounting Permissions

  4. Select Edit Role option at bottom of page

  5. On the Module View Tab select the folder for Project Accounting

  6. Update

  7. Populate the Checkbox for Maintain Projects

  8. Accept

Once the user has Menu Access and Permission they would want to log out and back in for the permissions to go into effect. Also please note that updating a ROLE will affect all users assigned to that Role.
