Terminated Date and Inactive Date in Employee Master

Looking to see if the terminated and inactive dates have any specific functionality

• Munis
• Payroll
• Employee Master
• Time Entry
• State Reporting

Dates are located in Employee Master (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Master) on the Dates tab. 

Inactive Date

• Inactive Date may be the date the employee submitted resignation
• May enter Inactive Date for an employee who is out on temporary leave

Terminated Date

• Usually would be the last day the employee is employed at the site

• Site should review any State Specific reports they use in Munis, as they may use these dates
• If Time Entry Groups Basis is set to Dates, entering an Inactive Date will prevent employee from Autoloading into a Time Entry batch
