Restricting budget projection accounts a user can update

Which permission will prevent a user from updating certain accounts in a budget projection?

A user needs to update some accounts in Central Budget Entry and only be able to see other accounts.

• Next Year Budget Entry

• Central Budget Entry

• User Attributes

The user has General Ledger data access to see the accounts and is not restricted in Budget object code data access from updating them.

To restrict accounts a user can update on a budget projection, update the user's Budget object code data access in User Attributes.

System Administration > Security > User Attributes 

1. Search for the User Id

2. Select the role that grants Budget permissions and click Edit Role

3. Select the Budget folder

4. Update 

5. Set the Budget object code access to Limited 

6. Click on the yellow folder

7. Select Limit and enter account segment and ranges  that the user should be allowed to update
