Permissions for Flexible Period Earnings Report in payroll

We have users who are unable to see employees in the Flexible Period Earnings Report. They have the right data access based on the GL accounts they should be able to report on.

Users had limited Location Maintenance Data Access that did not include the employee's Locations from Employee Master

• The Payroll Data Access will need to be defined with the applicable data the users can see.

• If the Location Data Access does not include the Locations defined in Employee Master, those employees will not display on reports.

To locate the Data Access:

1. Go to System Administration>Security>User Attributes. 

2. Search for the User. Click the Data Access tab. 

3. Scroll down to the Human Resource Product, Module Payroll, Category Location Maintenance Access. 

4. Note the Access column. If it shows Limited or None. Click that line and click the View Detail button at the bottom. 

   1. This will note what access ranges they have if limited and which Role they are assigned in. 

To access the Flexible Period Earnings Report, users will also need to have proper Org Maintenance Access and Pay Maintenance Access.
