Payroll-Security-How to update Data Access for a Role

Description of Issue

One Payroll user cannot access information associated with Employees in a specific Location code. When running Payroll reports, that Location is excluded.

Cause

Data Access for Role is set to Limited or None.

Resolution
  1. Navigate to System Administration>Security>Roles.

  2. Search for Role ID and click Accept.

  3. Click the HR Management/Payroll yellow folder.

  4. Click the yellow folder next to Location maintenance access under Data Access section.

    1. Click Full to give full Location access.

    2. Click Limit to give partial Location access.

      1. Enter or update Location codes in From and To fields to denote specific locations or ranges. 

      2. Click Accept.

Additional Information

User may need to log out of and into Enterprise ERP for changes to take affect.
