How to update Employee Mapping Table in ExecuTime



Description of Issue

We have Fire Department employees with a 12-day pay period in ExecuTime but each time the integration runs from Munis they update back to their Biweekly pay frequency.

Cause

The payPeriod ExecuTime mapping field was set to yes to update from Munis.



Resolution
  1. Log into ExecuTime with Admin credentials. 

  2. Click on System Admin. Click UI Environment Flags. Click the Admin tab.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Employee Mapping Table. 

  4. Locate the row for payPeriod. Update the columns for Update this Field and Update for Rehires from Yes to No. 

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save. 



Additional Information
  • When those settings are set to Yes, when a sync is done it compares the current ET>Employee Master record to the Munis>Employee Master record and since the ET>Employee Master>Pay Period is different than the Munis>Employee Master>Pay Frequency, it will update accordingly.

  • When those settings are set to No, the initial integration will pull the Pay Frequency from Munis, but since it is telling the ET system, do not update this field, then manual changes in ET will not get re-updated the next time the sync takes place.
