Split GL posting for specific pay code amounts in payroll to the next year

I have a payroll period that crosses years and I need only some pay codes to post to the GL for 2022. Is there a way to do that in Payroll?

• Munis

• Payroll Start and Status

• GL Distribution Journal

There is no way to define the Split GL posting in payroll to split based upon pay code to a different year. 

Two Options:

• Post to the GL for the current year then do manual journal entries to move the funds that needed to be posted to a different year.

• Create a separate payroll for those employees/pays and post that payroll to the next year.
