Munis Receipt spacing

Munis receipt spacing is not working

Cause

In this scenario a site might be attempting to add lines of spacing between receipts and upon testing may notice that the receipts they were attempting to add lines between are not spacing any further or closer as intended. This is due to the specific receipt the site is looking to update the spacing between. Munis delivers Individual receipts but can also deliver Summary receipts and these are configured in two different areas of Accounts Receivable Settings. 



Resolution

Navigate to General Revenues>Accounts Receivable>Setup>Accounts Receivable Settings. 

Summary Receipts

  1. From Accounts Receivable Settings program, click the Payments tab. 

  2. In the Payment Entry Options section the number of lines to feed after summary receipt field which can be updated to add or remove spacing between Summary receipts.

Individual Receipts 

  1. From the Accounts Receivable Settings program, click Cat Specific Settings from the Munis toolbar. 

  2. Within Cat Specific Settings, there are navigation arrows at the bottom of the program that allow the user to locate the category of the receipt in question. 

  3. Once the receipt in question is located, there is a field called Number of lines to feed after receipt which can be updated to add or remove spacing between Individual category receipts.
