Description of Issue

When merging custom templates in Munis to TCM error states TCM submit failed The remote name could not be resolved.



Context

  • Munis

  • Tyler Content Manager



Cause

Incorrect endpoint in Munis Application Storage setting.



Resolution

  1. Log into Munis and click on System Administration>General Administration>System Settings>Application Storage (located on the toolbar)

  2. Click Update:

    1. Resource ID: TCMMM - Archive Mail Merge TCM

    2. Name: TCMMM

    3. URL: Munis Web Service URL and append with spwshdlr:

      1. Ex: https://tylertechmemunisapp.tylerhost.net/1234prod/munis/gas/svc/ws/r/mugws/spwshdlr

    4. User ID: web service account

      1. Ex. 1234web

    5. Input web service account password

  3. Click Accept and save changes



Additional Information

  • The mail merge utility calls a Munis web service, then Munis performs the submission to TCM. 

  • Test connection will not work as it is not an actual test for this function. Site will need to test results to confirm resolution.
