How to determine the original journal information from a GRV journal reversal

Cause

Journal was reversed creating a GRV Journal but how can the original journal be located?

Resolution

General Ledger Menu > General Journal Entry > Journal Inquiry Print

  1. Click Search

  2. Type in the GRV Journals Year, Period and Journal Number

  3. Click Accept

  4. Review the REF4 field (example: 2412000004:      24 = Year 2024,       12 = Period 12,          000004 = Journal #4. This is the original journal information)
