Install all available Windows critical updates and service packs as well as available SQL cumulative updates (http://sqlserverupdates.com/). Note: Many clients opt to stay 30 days behind Microsoft’s patch release schedule in order to avoid the potential for early release platform impact
Restart servers (as required for Windows Updates).
Run LDAP utility and choose users in EERP but not in Active Directory. Recommend setting any user that is no longer active in the Active Directory EERP users (<domain>\munisusers) group to disabled within EERP and not deleting the user. Please review this Bringing User Accounts Into Munis Using LDAP Sync on the LDAP sync.
Run Database Integrity Check (on-demand SQL maintenance task).
Note: This does not have to be done monthly, but it is advised to do as frequently as reasonably possible. This process can be very lengthy and may need to be scheduled to occur during an extended period of down time (i.e. long holiday weekends). As the databases grows, this process will take longer.
