Create new Reason Code for Terminated or Retired employees

Description of Issue

User would like to create new Reason Codes to use when employees are set with an Inactive Date in Employee Master after retirement or termination.

Cause

Resolution
  1. Navigate to Payroll>Payroll Setup>Miscellaneous Codes.

  2. Locate the line for Miscellaneous Type: INAC, Description: Inactive/Terminated Codes.

  3. Double click on INAC line.

    1. Screen will display all existing codes.

  4. Click Add

  5. Enter Code.

    1. Code can be any unique combination of four letters and/or numbers.

  6. Enter Short Description and Long Description.

  7. Click Accept.
