Batch scanning via File Import for Content Manager

How do I set up the file import option for Batch Scanning from the CM Full Client?Â

Cause
Resolution
To set up a batch scan folder:
- Open File Explorer on your workstation
- Navigate to This PC > Windows (C:)
- Based on your workplace policies, either create a new folder here or continue to Users > your name
- Right-click inside the file explorer folder and select New > Folder
- Name this folder Batchscan
- This is where you should scan/save your batch files to
To integrate this folder with CM Batch Scanning:
- Launch the CM Full Client
- Navigate to Documents > Batch Scanning
- Click Settings > Scanner Options
- Under the Provider dropdown, select File Import
- This will allow a Source box to appear under Provider
- Click the ... ellipsis menu next to the Source dropdown
- A new menu will pop up for a file path to be selected
- Click the Add Entry button towards the top
- Locate the Batchscan folder that was created in the steps above and click Open
- Make sure that new file path is highlighted and click OK
- This will close out the additional menus and leave you at Scanner Setup
- Verify the scanner settings are accurate Recommended TCM Full Client batch scan settings
- Click OK
