Add or Update Department Codes for Payroll

Description of Issue

User is looking to see where they can access the Department Codes to add new ones or update existing ones

Context

Cause

Resolution
  1. Go to System Department Codes  (Asset Maintenance > Work Orders > Setup > System Department Codes or System Administration>General Administration>System Department Codes)

  2. Search for the Department Code that needs to be updated

  3. Click Update and make the necessary changes

  4. Click Accept

  5. If a Code needs to be added, click Add and fill out the new code as needed.

  6. Click Accept.

Additional Information

Go to Employee Master (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Master) to view the changes to the Department Codes or add the new one that was created.
