How to create a new template with Enterprise Forms



Description of Issue

Need to make a new form template with Standard Forms. 

Steps on creating a new Forms Template with ReadyForms.

Cause

A new form template is needed to fulfill an office need.



Resolution
  1. Navigate to Tyler Menu > Forms > Enterprise Forms

  2. Select the category that best represents the needed template from the left-hand side menu

  3. Select the desired template from the subcategory menu

  4. In the bottom right-hand corner, click the yellow + to create a new template

  5. Give your template a description and select from the available layouts

  6. Under configuration options, choose the PCL option for physically printing, or choose the PDF option for archiving, downloading, or emailing 

  7. Under Advanced Options, you can designate tray selections for check printing, or choose whether or not the document processes as individual files or a large packet: Archived or Emailed Enterprise Forms record contains all images from run

  8. The Data Display Options tab on templates will vary by form type, but these give control over some options that are able to be displayed or toggled off for the template, as well as options for how it is sorted

  9. In the Form Design tab, customize colors appropriate to branding, add logos, backers and signatures

  10. When complete, click the Save button in the bottom right-hand corner of the template window

If the Standard Template options do not have all desired configuration options, a Custom Template may be requested from Forms Design via a Request for Service: Request for Service ReadyForms Custom Template
