Permissions for Employee Detail History - Deduction and Pay History





Description of Issue

What permissions are needed to view the Employee Detail History - Deduction and Pay History report?



Context
  • Employee Detail History

  • User Attributes

  • Roles



Cause

The appropriate Run Types were not checked in Payroll Run Processing in the Role. 



Resolution
  1. Go to User Attributes. (System Administration>Security>User Attributes)

  2. Click on the applicable Role. Click Edit Role. 

  3. Click HR Management/Payroll.

  4. Click Update. Click Payroll Run Processing. Check the applicable Run Types. Click Accept. 

    1. The correct Run Types need to be checked in order to view Check Summary information from payrolls with those Run Types.



Additional Information

Additional permission needed for the Employee Detail History report are Menu Access and Data Access. 

  • User will need applicable Data Access for Location, Org, Pay and Deductions

  • User will need menu access on the Menu Security tab in the Role in two locations. 

    • Human Capital Management > Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Detail History

    • Human Capital Management > Payroll > Employee History > Employee Detail HistoryÂ
