Generate Earnings and Deductions is not pulling all employees into Payroll





Description of Issue

Generate Earnings and Deductions is not bringing all the employees into payroll. It is only bringing any employees who are in Time Entry.

Cause

Payroll Control Setting for, Include employees with zero pay was set to N



Resolution
  1. Go to Payroll Control Settings (Payroll> Payroll Set up> Payroll Control Settings)

  2. Search for the Generate Category and click the setting for INCLUDE EMPS WITH PAY = 0. Click Accept. 

  3. Click Update. Change Value to Y.

  4. Click Accept 

  5. Go to Payroll Start and Status (Payroll> Payroll Processing> Payroll start and status)

  6. Click Generate Earnings and Deductions

  7. Click Define. Define applicable fields. 

  8. Click Accept 

  9. Click Execute 

  10. Generate Options prompt will display, click Delete.

    1. This will delete the previously generated data and regenerates with the new data to include employees with pay equals zero.
