Resolution

Creating individual Real Estate bills in Maryland is very similar to the annual or subsequent bill run process, except without an import file. The parcels are entered manually into the Imported Parcels program individually.

  1. Navigate to Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > South > Maryland > Billing Process > Imported Parcels

  2. Click Add. If you are not currently in an active bill run, a message prompt will appear: The billing process must be active to add parcels. Would you like to create an active billing process?

  3. Click Yes to create an active billing process. This will update the Process Status in Tax Year Settings from a 0 to a 1. You can reset an active billing process back to 0 by using the Reset button in the Import State Data program.

  4. Complete the following fields to add the parcel

  5. Proceed to the following programs to create the bill: Tax and Credit Calculation, Billing Process Revenue Report, Tax Roll, Create Accounts Receivable
