Error deleting Grant from Grant Master

Unknown error on delete - Grant Master - staus: -691 [ISAM -547]
Additional information concerning a status error of -691:

[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server] The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_Grant_Mileston". The conflict occurred in database "XXXXX", table "dbo.Milestones", column 'GrantId'.

Milestones



Cause

Milestones exist with Grant number assigned



Resolution

In order to delete the Grant, the Milestones must be deleted.

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Project Accounting > Project Ledger > Projects/Inquiry > Grant Master

  1. Search for the Grant Number

  2. Milestones folder on Dates/Amounts tab

  3. Delete option in the ribbon

After all Milestones are removed, try deleting the Grant again
