Description of Issue

  • An error is generated while reversing a journal in Journal Reversal: You must have access to all lines on the journal.

  • The user has GL data access for all of the accounts that were manually entered.



Context

Journal Reversal



Cause

  • When a journal is created, control account lines are system generated, not requiring the user to have GL data access to the control account(s).

  • When a journal is reversed in Journal Reversal, control account lines are considered a manual entry and GL data access is checked.



Resolution

A System Administrator at the site can grant the user GL data access for the control account object code(s) on the journal.
