Cannot Change Projection Number in Next Year Budget Entry or Central Budget Entry

Unable to change the projection number in Next Year Budget Entry or Central Budget Entry

Can't access a budget projection number. Only one projection is available for the user to view.

If a user has Budget permissions set for Maximum Budget Level of 1, they will only be able to view the Default Operational Projection set in Budget Settings

There are two options to resolve this:

Financials > Budget Processing > Budget Settings

Update the settings and change the Default Operational Budget Projection to be the projection number they currently need access to (this will update for all users).

or

System Administration > Security > User Attributes

1. Search for the User Id

2. Select a role that grants Budgeting permissions- click Edit Role (impacts all users in role)

3. Select the Budget folder and Update

4. Change the Maximum Budget Level to a value higher than 1
