Description of Issue

How to install Dynamsoft Service on workstation for use with TCM scanning from Munis.

Cause

In order to scan into Munis using the TCM HTML viewer, the workstation conducting the scan needs to have a Dynamsoft Service installed in additional to the TWAIN driver.

Resolution

To resolve this, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the TCM HTML viewer.
  2. Click on the Add (Plus sign) button.
  3. Click on the Scan button.
  4. The download Dynamsoft message will appear.
  5. Click on it to begin downloading the service.
  6. This should start a download of an .exe or .msi or file depending installed TCM version. The downloaded .msi file should appear at the bottom of browser window. If it does not show in browser, please check Download folder.
  7. Click Run if prompted.
  8. Follow steps in the Install Wizard to download.
