Description of Issue

Getting the following error when delete a Payroll Allocation Code

Munis (prallmnt)

Error executing dowhere_delete.
ID: [Delete 1457] Record: [N/A] Status: -6372 [ISAM -50000]

Additional information concerning a status error of -6372:
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_EmployeePay_PayrollGLAllocationHeader". The conflict occurred in database "munprod", table "dbo.EmployeePays", column 'PayrollGLAllocationHeaderId'.

Cause

The allocation code has been assigned to an employee and may not be deleted.



Resolution

The error message indicates the allocation is still assigned, or has been assigned, in Employee Job Salary and/or Projection Employee Job Salary.  As the allocation is assigned to Employee Job Salary, and therefore linked to the audits, the allocation may not be deleted.  A user may change the Description field to something like 'Do Not Use',
