How to add new General Ledger Account to Munis?

Needed GL Account does not yet exist in EERP and needs to be added so it can be used

Search to confirm if Object exists or not: Add if needed.

1. 1. Browse Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set Up Chart of Accounts > Account Master
   2. Add
   3. Enter either:
      • Short GL Account - Organization Code and Object Code
      • Long GL Account - Fund, Segments 2-8 and Object Code
        • Project Code can also be utilized for both short and long account sites that have purchased it
   4. Accept

• Once the needed Object code has been created the Org Object combination can be used to create a new account in Account Master.
• Once needed account has been added it can be used in data entry
• New GL Accounts fields default in from all the Segment and Codes used from Chart of Account Segment (COAS) definitions
• Default fields can be updated in Account Master and will not impact what is defined for COAS
• Account Master Options Add Update Delete Missing or Not Available
