ExecuTime - Employees incorrect positions are still active or positions are missing





Description of Issue

In Master File Management, under Employees then the Positions tab, old positions that are end dated in Munis, are still showing active. This is causing certain pays to pull old rates.

Cause

Employee-Job Class Import integration had not been processed. 



Resolution

The Employee Job Class integration  will end date positions based on the Base pay Pay start and End dates in Employee Job/Salary. 

  1. Login to an admin ExecuTime account

  2. Click System Configuration. Click the Tyler Integration Tab.

  3. Run Employee-Job Class Import integration by clicking the square Run icon with arrow through it. 

    1. This will end date positions in Master File management

    2. In Employee/Job Salary the base pay for the old Job Class has to have a Pay End Date



Additional Information

This integration should not be run in ExecuTime Service Packs 2021.2.1 through 2021.3.3 due to an issue that was corrected in 2021.3.4. (XTSP-1625)

The Positions can be manually maintained within ExecuTime instead of running the integration:

  1. Within Master File Management>Employees

  2. Click the Positions tab. 

  3. Next to the Select a Position Code field, click the drop down and click the applicable Position (Job Class)

  4. Click the Plus icon next to the field. 

  5. Click Save for Current Pay Period.Â
