How to add Object Code to be used in GL Accounts?

Create a new object code

Chart of Account Segments (COAS)

Needed Object does not yet exist in EERP and needs to be added so it can be used

Search to confirm if Object exists:

1. Browse Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set Up Chart of Accounts > Chart of Account Segments
2. GL segment drop down box, select Object Code
3. Accept
4. Add
5. Fill out all required fields
6. Object Code
7. Description & Short Description
8. Status, Account type, Balance type, etc.
9. Accept

• Once Object Code exists it can be used in GL Accounts
• When accounts are added, by default the GL Account inherits all the defined fields of the object code
• Chart Of Account Segments Options Add Update Delete Missing or Not Available
