Default Org when add a pay type manually into a payroll





Description of Issue

I have a pay type that is not added in Employee Job Salary, and does not have Default Org on the Pay Master.  Where does the Org default in from when add the pay in Earnings and Deductions in a payroll?

Cause




Resolution

When add a pay type in Earnings and Deductions, the system will grab the Org from Employee Job Salary.  If the pay type is not in Employee Job Salary, it will grab the Default Org from Pay Master.  If there is no Default Org on the Pay Master, it will grab the Org from  Job Class Master.
