Add Segment Code

How to add Segment Code to be used in GL Accounts?

Chart of Account Segments (COAS)

Needed Segment does not yet exist in Munis and needs to be added so it can be used

Search to confirm if Object exists or not:

1. 1. Browse Munis > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set Up Chart of Accounts > Chart of Account Segments
   2. In GL segment drop down, select specific Segment name
   3. Accept
   4. Add
   5. Fill out all required fields
      • Segment Code
      • Description & Short Description
   6. Accept

• Once Segment Code exists it can be used in GL Accounts
• Segment descriptions defined in COAS will display next to code in all other Munis modules when used and displayed
• Chart Of Account Segments Options Add Update Delete Missing or Not Available
