Creating a Salary and Benefit Projection

Resolution

To create the projection:

  1. Go to Projection Start and Status. (Human Resources/Payroll>Payroll>Salary and Benefit Projections>Projection Start and Status)

  2. Click Add.

  3. Define Run number (must be between 101-200 and 1001-2000) and description.

  4. Define Start and End dates. (the range of dates for the projection)

  5. Select a Change Category by clicking the drop down. (these are defined in the payroll Miscellaneous Codes program)

  6. Press TAB to check any steps that need to be flagged as required. 

  7. New Projection Source screen will display. Select New Projection Source of LIVE. Click Accept. 

  8. Projection Add/Delete will Display. Leave blank to ZZZZZ to include all criteria. 

  9. Create Projection prompt will ask, Begin Copying Records? Click Yes.

  10. When finished, return to Projection Start and Status.

  11. Click on Employee Job Salary from Projection Start and Status Screen to go into Projection Employee Job Salary.

  12. Verify Payroll Projection prompt. Click Yes.

  13. Click Search. Click Accept. All records copied from Live will display.

** Note - When in Projection Start and Status, after searching for desired projection and have clicked Accept, remember to click Change in the menu to make that projection active.
